month 9

I don't know if we are going to make it to 12 months sitting next to Mr. Giraffe in the red chair, it was really hard to get a good shot of the two of them this month - he is all over the place.  Hudson has started pulling himself up on the couch and chair, and it is amazing what he can get his little hands on when he is upright.

I'm a little late on the monthly pictures so these were taken at 8 1/2 months, right after Hudson started crawling.  No that he is mobile it's very hard to get a good shot of him and Mr. Giraffe in the big red chair.  He's no longer interested in his friend.

central park zoo

We took Hudson to the zoo for the first time and he loved it!  We weren't sure he would notice the animals but he loved the penguins and all the animals at the petting zoo.  I can't wait for many more trips to the zoo this summer.

crawling

At 8 1/2 months Hudson was determined he was going to get the remote control that was out of his reach, so he picked up his bum and got it!  I will admit I was screaming, it was a very exciting moment for me.  He still continues to do the stomach slide.  He will only crawl on all fours when he is on the carpet, and since we don't have very much of that in our house he is usually on his stomach.  It's amazing how fast he can slide across the hardwood.
