beach baby
For Memorial Day weekend we took Hudson to Ocean City, NJ for his first beach trip. The water was a little chilly and the first day he didn't mind the crashing waves and even dipped his feet a little, but the second day he wasn't having it and preferred to stay by his tent and lick the sand off his hands. Both days he was so drained by the sun that he fell asleep in Jason's arms - Jason loved this. The tent was amazing and gave mom and dad a few uninterrupted minutes to bask in the sun. He would play in the tent for about 15 minutes and would then realize that he could be playing in the sand instead.
We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend and loved walking up and down the boardwalk. While in Jersey Hudson went on his first carousel and ferris wheel ride. He didn't seem to mind either of them but made sure he held on good and tight. Jason has been working a ton so it was nice for both Hudson and I to have some good daddy time.
