baby's first christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas and were so lucky to be able to spend it with family and friends in UT.  This was our best Christmas to-date and love that they will only get better.  Hudson is a little angel and we had so much fun showing him off.  He squeals and babbles, and even started rolling when we were in UT. We are not a fan of flying and the fact that he gets ear infections each time we do.  Sick babies are no fun.  But Hudson is such a smiley baby that even when he isn't feeling well he still manages to give you a smile. Everyday we can't believe how lucky we are to have this sweet little boy in our lives.  I never thought I could love someone this way.  I can't think of a better way to start each day then when I go to get him from his crib and I am greeted with a big smile.  It's not possible to have a bad day when you know your baby is so excited to see you.

Get ready for a picture overload.  Thanks to Instagram and my new iphone camera.  I've been a little obsessed with taking pictures of Hudson.

month 5

As you can see from the pictures below, he's grown more in personality than in size this past month:)  He's hair has also grown in a lot more over this month and he is sitting up so much better - for a little while at least!  Hudson has a love/hate relationship with Mr. Giraffe.

 getting compfy

You can already tell he is ALL boy:)

poor Mr. Giraffe

keep rollin rollin rollin

Somebody is rolling ... and I luckily had my camera ready to capture one of his firsts.  Most rolls are back to belly, but this is one of the few belly to backs.  I'm sure the soft bed had something to do with it:)

 Thinking about it ...
Decides to go for it and starts by flipping his leg over ...
Stops to make sure this is what he wants to do ...
Puts a little more lean into it ...
 He's going ....
 and going ....
And lands safely on the other side.

month 4

Our little man is definitely turning into a chunker!
He and Mr. Giraffe and turning out to be best buds.
