bookclub shower
When I first moved to NYC I was invited to join a bookclub and I am so glad that I did. The women in our bookclub are fabulous!! Each of these ladies bring so many different opinions to our discussions and it's amazing where our conversations can go when discussing something as boring as the Oxford English Dictionary. But lately, no matter what the book is, we always end up talking about scary labor and delivery stories. You would think with several pregnant women in the room we would try and avoid this subject but I guess they want to hear the good, the bad and the ugly.
Since joining the bookclub we have had many women come and go but we've had even more babies and we will soon be welcoming twins into our group. My friend Addy is having twin boys in July and to celebrate this exciting adventure we through her a bookclub baby shower. We had such a fun time chatting, playing games and seeing her "double" gifts. I am so excited for Addy and her husband Matt, they are going to be AMAZING parents and I can't wait to meet their "twinks".

Sheena you are becoming the SHOWER woman!! What an awesome friend. I hope you and Jason get to spend some quality time this summer having fun, I totally am in your boat with Dj in the Master progam life sucks right now with our time together but it will all be worth it in the end,right??
I want to come to NY this weekend, but I don't know if it will happen. If it does, we should try to get together.
It was so much fun! And, I have to say, delivering Dallin was much better than I had expected. So they weren't all horror stories!
Thank you so much for the fun shower! I used all your pics on my blog because they turned out so cute. I didn't comment on the last post, but I do have to agree that it is great to have a husband back! Summer is the best!
We finally found you guys! i had to go back and find the e-mail that Jason sent to Nate clear back in 2006 to find the link. I finally found it so now we can watch what the Larkins are doing in NYC! Looks like fun.
